For some time it has been the desire of TVC to begin a structured programme of volleyball training for the 13 to 18 age group.

Now as a result of funding from Staffordshire County Council, Tamworth Sports Council, Wilnecote High School and the National Lottery Awards For All Programme along with a committed group of club members it has become a reality.

It is intended to run the TVC Junior Academy on Tuesday nights at Wilnecote High School between 7pm and 8pm during the months of October through July inclusive. In order to maintain this programme for a number of years we intend to make a nominal charge of approx £2.50 per visit per child to defray costs, making a total of £25.00 per school term

Our initial plan is to limit the numbers to a maximum of 24 on a first come first served basis so we encourage those that are interested to download the information and register as soon as possible.

All coaches will be CRB cleared and hold a Volleyball England Coaching Certificate. They will deliver a fun based, skill acquisition programme which will be geared to achieving a three tier award schedule. The top award will allow the holder to consider becoming a full member of TVC knowing that they have the skill level to contribute and benefit from attending senior club training sessions.

Volleyball is a dynamic sport which is suitable for both genders and provides great fitness and social opportunities.
